Australian GIs
This list includes all Australian Geographical Indications protected in the Register. Each entry includes a textual description and a map.
In each case the textual description is the legal definition. The maps are graphic representations only.
In the event of an inconsistency the textual description takes precedence.
Digital boundary files
The Geographical Indications of Australia boundaries (Wine Zones, Regions and Subregions) are available for use in GIS/mapping applications from the Wine Australia Open Data Hub.

[1] The zone South Eastern Australia incorporates the whole of the states of NSW, Vic. and Tas. and only part of Qld and SA.
[2] Murray Darling and Swan Hill are contained within the zones of Big Rivers (NSW) and North West Victoria (Vic.).
[3] The use of Great Western is subject to legally enforceable conditions of use.
