Pericoota Geographical Indication
The Australian Geographical Indication "Perricoota" was entered in the Register of Protected Names on 25 March 1999 in response to a direction received by the Registrar from the Presiding Member of the Geographical Indications Committee acting under Section 40Z of the WAC Act 1980.

The Geographical Indication "Perricoota" is located within the zone Big Rivers, within the State of New South Wales, Australia.
The beginning point of the boundary is situated on Map Moama (Sheet 7825-N) at grid reference BA785129, on the south bank of the Murray River (the New South Wales / Victoria State border) in the proximity of Perricoota homestead, then proceeds in a straight line to the vehicular track on the northern bank of the Murray River at grid reference BA785130, then proceeds generally northerly along the vehicular track to the edge of map at grid reference BA786133; On to Map Mathoura (Sheet 7826 II & III) at grid reference BA786133 and continues generally northerly along the same vehicular track crossing Perricoota Forest Road at grid reference BA791176 to its junction with Fitzpatrick Lane at grid reference BA793194, then proceeds generally easterly along Fitzpatrick Lane to its junction with Moama Barham Road at grid reference BA825190, then proceeds generally northerly along the Moama Barham Road to its intersection with School Road in the locality of Womboota at grid reference BA830235, then proceeds generally northerly along School Road to its intersection with Ogden Lane at grid reference BA833260, then proceeds generally easterly along Ogden Lane to its intersection with Thyra Road at grid reference BA930252, then proceeds generally southerly along Thyra Road to its intersection with Moira Road at grid reference BA928234, then proceeds generally easterly then northerly and then easterly along Moira Road to its intersection with Marmon Lane at grid reference CA024228, then proceeds generally south south easterly and then easterly along unnamed road to its intersection with Line Road at grid reference CA048197, then proceeds generally south westerly along Line Road to its intersection with Stud Farm Lane at grid reference CA046192, then proceeds generally easterly along Stud Farm Lane to its junction with the Cobb Highway at grid reference CA083186, then proceeds south westerly along the Cobb Highway to its junction with an unnamed road at grid reference CA059158, then proceeds generally easterly along the unnamed road to its junction with a vehicular track at grid reference CA082155, then proceeds southerly along the vehicular track to its junction with another vehicular track at CA082153, then proceeds generally easterly along the vehicular track to Big Circular Log Landing on the Murray River at grid reference CA126151, then proceeds in a straight line to the southern bank of the Murray River (the New South Wales / Victoria State border) at grid reference CA127151, then proceeds generally southerly along the southern bank of the Murray River to the edge of map at grid reference CA138141; On to Map Moama (Sheet 7825-N) at grid reference CA138141, then proceeds generally south easterly and then generally westerly along the southern bank of the Murray River to grid reference BA785129, which is the descriptor starting point.
