Biological control of grapevine mites
Abstract
Biological control of grapevine mites
Summary
This report provides detailed data on grapevine mite and predatory mite population biology from four major viticultural regions of south-eastern Australia (Riverlands, Sunraysia, Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area (MIA), Canberra). In addition, data are presented on aspects of the biology, pesticide susceptibility and rearing of major predators involved in biological control of grapevine mites. It is concluded that considerable potential exists for the development of mite management strategies based on biological control in inland viticulture of south-eastern Australia.
