ProWein is the world’s biggest trade fair for the wine and spirits industry, held annually in Düsseldorf in Germany. The fair attracts around 50,000 visitors from across the world, including major buyers from Europe, UK, USA, Canada and Asia. For Australian producers, the event provides invaluable access to some of the most influential people in the wine trade.
Wine Australia will be back on our large stand in Hall 14 (B10–B20 and C10–C20), the same location as in 2023. The stand features winery booths, regional booths, meeting space, and an educational and events area. On the stand guests can participate in regional tastings, master classes and informal networking sessions.
In 2023, the fair attracted 49,000 trade guests from 141 countries. Visitors to our stand included retail buyers from the UK, monopoly buyers from the Nordics and Canada, and buyers and importers from the US and across Asia.
Be part of the world’s biggest wine and spirits fair, and meet buyers, create leads and make sales. Here’s what wineries exhibiting on our stand said about ProWein 2023:
"The icing on the cake was a handshake with a leading UK distributor on the second day of the fair."
Ian Batt, Founder and Winemaker at Small Things Wine
"I had very positive conversations with buyers from across the world including the Nordics, Iceland, Greece and Thailand."
Philip Jeffries, General Manager of Sales and Marketing at d’Arenberg
"ProWein is one of those fairs we keep coming back to. Excellent quality visitors, valuable meetings and a buzzing atmosphere on the Aussie stand."
Fiona Findlay, Head of Sales at Voyager Estate
