Attend ProWein Germany 2020

Connect with producers, taste wines seeking distribution, discover the latest releases and explore new opportunities.

From 13 wineries in 2010 to more than 80 wineries in 2020, the Wine Australia stand at ProWein has grown significantly over the last decade. The stand is in the New World hall (Hall 9) in the middle of the Australian area.

With more than 500 wines, over 80 producers, 12 tasting events, meeting space, an Australian Wine Bar and happy hours, our stand is the place to be at ProWein. We also have a barista – it’s a nod to Australia’s sophisticated coffee culture and a good excuse for you to stay and talk for a bit longer. At ProWein 2019, our barista served more than 1500 Australian-style quality coffees over the three days!

The programme of events runs from Sunday to Tuesday, and it covers tutored tastings in our education area and a master class in the ProWein Forum. Showcasing the diversity of Australian wine, events include Riesling Rediscovered, Iconic Shiraz, McLaren Vale – championing sustainability, Sparkling Australia, Margaret River – Iconic Chardonnays, and Cool Australia. Please see more details below.

Some producers are returning to ProWein to showcase new releases and the latest vintages, such as d’Arenberg, Jim Barry Wines, Kay Brothers and Langmeil Winery, whilst others are new to the Wine Australia stand and to ProWein. Henschke, Kangarilla Road, Lambert Estate Wines, Maxwell Wines, Mitolo Wines and Seppeltsfield are some of the producers new on our stand for 2020.
