The event will take place in a quirky 400-year-old brew house next to the city’s famous canals. We’re trekking into uncharted land – this is the first wine tasting to be held at the Christian IV’s Brewhouse.
The 27 winemakers and winery owners will be pouring the wines and sharing their stories. The line-up will feature over 150 wines: alternative varieties, exciting new styles and wines with little or no intervention.
1.00pm-5.00pm: Trade Only. Invitation Only. Open Minds Only.

Meet the Makers
Not beholden by tradition and always experimenting, the producers are a bit ‘off the vine’. And whilst they’re very diverse and don’t fit into just one box, they can be loosely grouped into:
The Terroir Hunters
It's all about place for these guys. The producers have found exceptional sites and their wines, often small batches and single vineyards, convey a real sense of place. Get a glass and taste the diversity and regionality of Australia.

The Minimalists
Our winemakers are curious by nature, perfecting old concepts and playing with new ideas to create something extraordinary. This group combines minimal winery intervention with old-style techniques such as the use of wild yeasts and little oak, whilst some go one step further and advocate a completely natural approach.
