Natural Resource Management Coordinator

Abstract

The appointment of an industry-based Natural Resource Management Coordinator has enabled the Australian wine industry to raise awareness of environmental issues amongst its members, supported the Wine Industry National Environment Committee in setting environmental policy directions for the industry, and increased the profile of the industry in environmental management activities in Australia and abroad. The NRM Coordinator was appointed by the Winemakers’ Federation of Australia, and
was responsible for delivering commitments under the final years of an EcoEfficiency Agreement and the development and implementation of Australian Wine Industry Stewardship.
