The Wine Industry Mentor Program is proudly supported by Wine Australia, Wine Communicators of Australia, The University of Adelaide, Wine Industry Suppliers Australia Inc and the Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology.
It is a whole of sector initiative aiming to support and inspire the future generations of wine industry professionals.
The program boasts some of Australia’s most highly respected and experienced wine sector leaders as mentors. These individuals give their time willingly and voluntarily to support and foster the growth of the Australian wine sector.
The program aims to boost both the personal and professional development in future generations of wine industry professionals by giving them the opportunity to:
- Connect with like-minded, ambitious wine professionals.
- Grow their knowledge from respected wine sector leaders.
- Aspire to be the best they can be through greater clarity of career direction and satisfaction within the wine industry.
This program offers mentees a deeply rewarding opportunity to enhance their professional career development in the wine sector. And the program itself is a leading example of the Australian wine community collaborating to share knowledge regardless of career role and life-stage, as well as recognising and supporting diversity in all its forms across our sector.
This is an annual program. Applications to be a mentee open at the beginning of April and close at the end of April. The program runs from June to November.
