Wine Australia partnered with the Australian Women in Wine Awards to host the award ceremony in New York City this September 2019, as part of the largest ever promotion of Australian wine in the USA.
Now in its 5th year, the Australian Women in Wine Awards is the first and only platform celebrating Australian women in wine. The 2019 awards were held in New York City and recognised the talent of Australian female wine producers forging a path of excellence for the wine industry through innovation, research, management, winemaking, viticulture and marketing.
The ceremony coincided with the launch of Far From Ordinary: Aussie Wine Month, which is brought Australian wineries across the globe for the largest Australian wine promotion ever held in the USA.
The awards drove excitement and appreciation for our home-grown talent appearing in one of the world's leading wine cities.
Wine Australia’s Far From Ordinary: Aussie Wine Month has been made possible by the Australian Government’s $50 million Export and Regional Wine Support Package.
The ceremony was an invite only event.

- Cellar Door Person of the Year
