In 2025-26, Wine Australia is collaborating with a network of experienced wine educators across mainland China to deliver a series of engaging and insightful educational seminars.
These sessions are designed for wine industry professionals, hospitality and F&B experts, wine education organisations, and key in-market wine influencers, also some wine consumers providing them with in-depth knowledge of Australian wines. This education initiative will cover more than 20 cities across China, including four first-tier cities and 20 second- and third-tier cities, expanding the reach and impact of Australian wine education.
Leveraging the comprehensive Australian Wine Discovered education program, these seminars will highlight the diversity, quality, and unique characteristics of Australian wines — empowering industry professionals to confidently share their knowledge and promote Australian wine across various sectors.
How wineries can get involved
If you export to mainland China, this is an exciting opportunity to showcase your wines as part of this influential education initiative. We invite wineries to submit their wines for consideration, ensuring they align with the themes of our seminars. Selected wines will be featured in tastings and educational discussions, helping to demonstrate the breadth and depth of Australian wine styles.
To participate, please complete the nomination form below, providing details of wines currently available in the Chinese market. If your wines are selected, Wine Australia will coordinate with your winery contact and importer to facilitate their inclusion in the program.
Wine nominations must be submitted no later than 29 April 2025.
