Role of growth substances in berry development

Summary

This project used molecular biology techniques to investigate the role of growth substances in berry development. The aims were to develop methods to assay hormones (GA, auxin, ABA) in grape tissues, isolate and characterise key grape genes involved in the metabolism of hormones and assay the expression of hormone metabolising genes in grape tissues.
