Australia has thousands of wineries, dotted throughout 65 wine regions across the country. Our unique climate and vast landscape enables us to produce an incredibly diverse range of wine, which can be seen in more than 100 different grape varieties.
Australian winemakers are proud creators and innovators and we are lucky to have the freedom to make high quality, bold wine, our own way. Our wines express the passion and diversity of the people who craft them and the unique regional characteristics of their origins.
Our annual trade tasting - returning to London, Edinburgh and Dublin - will give you a taste of Australia’s exciting and diverse styles of wine, from classic to contemporary, rogue to the refined. You’ll discover wines from some of our most renowned regions, to the lesser known.

As well as sharing findings from their flavour research, the seminar will include sensory recognition of the key compounds and a tasting of selected wines. This session will show that world class research and innovation helps Australia to continue to make attractive, distinctive and complex wines.

Find out how winemakers are experimenting with alternative varieties and new styles to create something extraordinary. Explore the diversity of McLaren Vale and the innovative spirit of the region's winemakers in this master class, led by The Wine Detective and McLaren Vale Ambassador, Sarah Ahmed.

Aroma Wall
Did you know that most of the flavour when tasting a wine is due to the sense of smell rather than taste?
Brand new to London’s Australia Trade Tasting and the first time on show in Europe is the Aroma Wall, a joint venture between Wine Australia and the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI). This large scale, interactive installation will showcase some of the key aroma compounds that make Australian wines so iconic in a fun and engaging way.
