Individuals working in the Australian grape and wine sector, including researchers, can now apply for complimentary access to VitiSynth to keep up to date with research from around the world.
VitiSynth, and its weekly newsletter VitiSynthesis, filters through various Australian and international information sources, and provides summaries in a structured and easy to access format.
Wine Australia is pleased to offer a limited number of annual subscriptions to the international database of wine and table grape sector knowledge; covering research in oenology, viticulture, wine business, wine marketing, wine sensory and more.
Complimentary subscriptions available through Wine Australia
Access to the full version of VitiSynth services requires a subscription. Wine Australia is pleased to offer annual subscriptions to individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Australian grape and wine sector levy payers
- individuals within Australian national, state/territory or regional industry associations
- individuals working within policy and government agencies. Consultants, agronomists and individuals working with the Australian grape and wine sector, or
- researchers and students working in grape and wine science based at Australian universities or research institutes.
Wine Australia reviews requests for applications against the criteria. When we get close to reaching the cap, we will allocate subscriptions using the order specified. An additional cap is applied to individuals requesting a subscription from each of the top 20 largest wine companies by total wine production, at 20 individuals per company.
