Australian fine wines set to delight North America
Our Savour Australia Program is in full swing throughout May, with our North American event series highlighting the Australian wine community’s collaboration.
Wine Australia’s trade, media and consumer campaign, Savour Australia, is rolling out a series of 20 roadshow events across the US and Canada from Wednesday April 27 and continuing throughout May. Cities that will play host to events include Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.
Wine Australia’s Head of Market, North America, Angela Slade said ‘Our roadshow across North America will allow many more wine drinkers to connect with and savour fine Australian wine.
‘This is an exciting time for the wines of Australia and the breadth of regional styles and varietals that are making their way across the US and Canada. It is a testament to our unique viticultural regions, the talent of our winemakers and the quality of our wines.’
The Australian community has come together to Savour Australia and celebrate Aussie Wine Month in May with Wine Australia’s partners including G’day USA; American Australian Association; the Australian Embassy and Consulates in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago; the Australian High Commission and Consulates in Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver; South Australian Tourism Commission; BC Hospitality Foundation; and importers and agents of Australian fine wine.
The events will showcase over 200 Australian wines from more than 20 wine regions and demonstrate Australia’s fine wine evolution, diverse wine regions and innovation.
