Wine Australia has launched its second comprehensive stakeholder survey to more than 8000 people in the Australian grape and wine community.

This 15-minute survey is an opportunity for people to provide feedback on their engagement and satisfaction with Wine Australia across the following core services:

  • research, development and adoption (RD&A)
  • market insights
  • marketing
  • regulatory and export assistance, and
  • delivery of the Australian Government’s $50 million Export and Regional Wine Support Package (the $50m Package).

Wine Australia Chief Executive Officer Andreas Clark encouraged everyone who received the survey link in the past week to have their say.

‘We know people are busy, but this is your chance to provide feedback on how levies are invested, what your priorities are and how we could serve the grape and wine community better.

‘Whether you’re a grape and wine business, an exporter, a research provider, a supplier or a national, state or regional wine association – we want to hear from you.

‘Your input and insights will help inform future stakeholder engagement and support stronger relationships with the grape and wine community’, Mr Clark said.

This survey builds on and replaces two annual surveys about performance in exports and market insights, while gauging feedback on Wine Australia’s delivery of the $50m Package.

Everyone is encouraged to complete the survey by 12 April 2021.

Background

The survey is being conducted by market researchers Intuitive Solutions Pty Ltd, who will provide a comprehensive report on stakeholders’ views. The data provided to Wine Australia will be de-identified to maintain people’s confidentiality.

The survey has been sent to more than 8000 people in the Australian grape and wine community, including levy payers, wine exporters, researchers, suppliers, national, state and regional wine associations and all Australian-based subscribers to Wine Australia newsletters.
